Privacy Policy
This page explains what WeBoss collects when you use weboss.io, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to build and run your website, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
WeBoss (weboss.io) is run by Bilal Mohiuddin, based in Pakistan. Questions about your data go to support@weboss.io.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself), plus the IP address you signed up from, to stop abuse.
- Your business answers and website: what you tell the builder (business name, trade, location, goals, style, logo) and the site content you create and edit.
- What your visitors send you: when someone fills in a contact, quote or booking form on your WeBoss site, we store it so you can see it in your dashboard. We hold it for you and use it for nothing else.
- Usage and analytics: pages viewed on weboss.io and on sites we host, where visitors came from, device type and country. We don't store raw IP addresses for analytics.
- Billing: your plan, and the amounts and dates of your payments. Card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store them.
Cookies
We use a small number of our own cookies: one to keep you logged in, and a few to count visits and remember which link brought you here. On weboss.io's own pages we also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to count visits. You can say no in the cookie bar and neither is used; in Europe nothing is counted until you say yes. We don't use advertising cookies, and Google Analytics is never added to the websites our customers build.
How we use it
- To build, host and publish your website, and to run your account.
- To send you emails about your account, such as sign-in, form submissions and billing.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand what works and improve WeBoss.
Who we share it with
We only share data with the services that help us run WeBoss, and only what each one needs:
- Analytics (Google Analytics): pages viewed on weboss.io, device and rough location, if you allow it. Never your password-reset, booking, quote or support links.
- AI provider (Google Gemini): your business answers and editing requests are sent to generate and edit your site.
- Payment provider: our reseller and merchant of record handles checkout, payments, taxes and invoices.
- Hosting and delivery: our servers and content delivery network, which host your site.
- Email delivery: to send account and notification emails.
We don't sell your personal data. We will only disclose it if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and sites for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, sites and form submissions, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@weboss.io and we'll reply within 3 business days.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are secure cookies, and connections use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you.
Children
WeBoss is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email you.
